Filled! a three week series on the Holy Spirit leads us up to Pentecost Sunday on May 27. We’ll begin by looking at Luke 24:50-53 and Acts 1:1-11 —the story of the Ascension and Jesus’ promise of the coming of the Spirit. My prayer is that we will be filled with a sense of expectancy for what God wants to do in us by His Spirit as the disciples were as they heard Jesus’ words: “wait for the gift my Father promised … in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:4,5)
