Pastor Ken preached on Ephesians 4 this last week (listen here) and one of the areas he addressed was our roles as apostles, prophets, evangelists, shepherds, and teachers. We are united under one faith and one God, making up one body of Christ as the Church, and need to act on the giftings God has given us, to contribute to and build up the Church.

Jayson & I are watching The Book of Ephesians study by J.D. Greear on RightNow Media. In it he also addresses this in his session on Ephesians 4 . J.D. talks about us striving to understand our giftings, by recognizing our Ability (things we are good at), Affinity (what we are passionate about) and Affirmation (what others identify within us), which leads us to better identify our giftings.

Interested in finding out how you are gifted? Check out the Five Fold Ministry Survey which we use as part of our Huddles at LCC. It’s helpful to get a snapshot of your ministry gifts.

Did you know that RightNow Media is available to you as an attender of LCC? It’s an extensive video library—find out more here. If you don’t have a RightNow Media account, or are unsure of how to use your RightNow Media account, let us know and we can help you out. It really is a worthwhile resource.

Thanks,
