What to expect while you are at Lakeside …
On Sundays
- casual atmosphere
- friendly people
- a worship service of about one hour and a quarter followed by a time for visiting. Refreshments and snacks provided
- thought provoking and relevant messages from the Bible
- contemporary worship music
- Kidzone: activities and learning for kids ages 19 months to Grade 5
- Youthzone: Junior and Senior High teaching and discussion tied in with the sermon series of the day
- most Sundays you find us at Hillcrest Elementary school – but sometimes you’ll find us at the Wharf (August) or other interesting places. We’ll let you know ahead of time!
During the week
Wednesday:
- Prayer meeting at 7 pm
- Worship team practice
Thursday at the Downtown Office
- Youth: LIVE (Bible Study)
- Middle School Youth 1.0: 3:30-4:30 pm
- Senior High Youth 2.0: 7:00-8:30 pm
Friday Night Youth events: check the bulletin for what’s coming up (on home page)
Throughout the week: Life Groups (small groups of 4-12 people) meet in homes to encourage each other in their relationship with God, study the Bible and build friendships.
The office is open Tuesday to Friday 9 am to 12:30 pm. We are always happy to have people drop by.
