Offended by Jesus

When the teachers of the law who were Pharisees saw him eating with the “sinners” and tax collectors, they asked his disciples: “Why does he eat with tax collectors and ‘sinners’?”
On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” —Mark 2:16-17
Pastor Ken continues the Jesus 101 portion of the Gospel of Mark series with Offended by Jesus.

Freedom Session Sponsor Orientation

Have you been asked by a Freedom Session participant to be their Sponsor? If so, we will be holding the Sponsor Orientation at 7pPM—9PM on Monday, January 23rd at the LCC Office.
You should have been given a Becoming a Sponsor booklet when you were asked to be a sponsor. If you weren’t, or have misplaced it, you can download it here. The booklet provides an overview of Freedom Session’s teaching about finding a sponsor, and what is required of a sponsor.
We would encourage you to make every effort to be at the orientation—please make this a priority. However, if you are unable to be there on Monday night, please make arrangements with us to go over the materials with you.
We are thankful that you have chosen to come alongside one of our participants and look forward to seeing you at the orientation!
