Welcome to Lakeside Community Church

We are a family at Lakeside and we want to grow in our relationship with the Lord and each other. We are a friendly, upbeat, relevant place where young families and the young at heart can come to discover and worship God. That’s our vision. To achieve it we encourage a variety of ways for individuals to become involved with our church family as well as the community.

Our church has five purposes:

The Great Commandment:

"Jesus said, Love the Lord your God with all your heart...soul... and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets depend on these two commandments."
(Matthew 22:37-40)

The Great Commission:

"Jesus said, Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
(Matthew 28: 19-20)

What We Believe

What a church believes and stands for is important. The messages the Pastor gives and the things taught in seminars, during Kidzone and TeenZone are based on a set of core values. Here are the basic beliefs at Lakeside.

Seminars & Social Concerns

Around the Bases

The curriculum is designed to take you from the entry level stage to discovering your life’s mission. You’ll find out what Lakeside is all about and discover how God wants to use you in His Kingdom. The four seminars, taught by the pastors and lay leaders, are scheduled conveniently throughout the year.

Social Concerns

We believe that Christianity must be practical. Therefore, it is our desire to help you to serve our community. The creation of new ministry groups by individuals and the congregation is encouraged. We believe that the Holy Spirit will raise up the people with the passion and gifts to meet the growing needs of our community. The Sonlight Kitchen, run in conjunction with other area churches, is just one example of a practical outreach. This program offers a free lunch every Monday and Friday.
